The Five-Continents Program provides an outstanding international experience with a multicultural environment as you learn across the globe, in more than 50 countries. It comprises more than 300 options of institutions for exchange and dual degree programs.

Embark on a transformative journey with our latest program Certificate in Latin American Studies, comprised by courses related to LatAm with two main pathways: Business, Economics & International Relations and Arts & Culture. These courses critically examine the history, language, culture, political and economic regional environment. 

Duration: February to June or August to December. Summer and Winter Sessions also available. 

Location: São Paulo – FAAP 

Language of Instruction: English 

Certificate options:  

  • Non-degree Certificate in LatAm Studies (minimum 144 h -16 ECTS/ 9 American Credits)
  • Graduate Degree in LatAm Studies (360h – 36 ECTS/ 24 American Credits)

For each subject of 36 hours – 4 ECTS/ 2 American Credits participants will receive a certificate of completion.  

Optional: Field trips across Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina.

COURSE PROGRAM

Based on a communicative approach, the language teaching of our courses is carried out in different cultural and social contexts, which provides a rich experience for students to practice Portuguese in a very pleasant environment: practical situations of everyday communication, pronunciation, vocabulary for specific purposes, such as school, work and leisure, developing the four language learning skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
